The MWM-989 150lb Stack Home Gym features is perfect for a total body workout.

Just like what you're used to in the health club gyms, the MWM-989 Stack Weight Home Gym offers many of the same strength training exercises which target most muscle groups.

Burn calories, increase lean muscle mass, and reach your fitness goals while working out at home. Resistance training not only builds lean and powerful muscles, it also increases your metabolic rate, allowing you to burn more calories and lose unwanted weight.

Due to the design of the MWM-989 Stack Home Gym Equipment utilizing pulleys and cables connected to a weight stack, you'll never waste valuable time loading and unloading weight plates. The MWM-989 home training system exercises are safer than traditional free weight exercises because the weights are never suspended over your body. Since the weights are stored behind a protective weight stack, the weight lifted will never be directly above your body.

This solid piece of equipment is perfect for any garage home gym due to its compact design. Unlike a Marcy Smith Machine, the Marcy MWM-989 Stack Gym provides full body workouts that target several muscle groups while not taking up a large footprint.

MWM-989

I am very pleased with the structural quality and versitility of the MWM-989 home gym. It is an excellent value for the money. My only complaint, and the reason for not giving a 5-star rating, is that the preacher curl pad is too narrow and my elbows keep sliding off the sides. If Marcy would sell a replacement pad that is at least six inches wider, I would gladly buy it.

MWM-989 Stack Gym

I ordered the unit using the store pick-up option on the Dick's Sporting Goods website. It arrived quickly. Pick-up was easy; they loaded it onto my truck for me. When I began to assemble it, I noticed a bent part. I called customer service. The person I talked to was very responsive and eager to help. She told me that I would have a replacement part in 5 to 10 business days and that I would receive an email with a tracking number when the part shipped. I don't remember receiving that email, but the part arrived quickly, so I'm not complaining. The instructions were clear for the most part, and assembly was fairly easy. I found a helpful You-tube video. The machine works well so far. Overall, I'm a satisfied customer.

Home Gym MWM-989

One of the cables started to come apart after 2.5 months of light use. Dick's Sporting Goods said that I had to either disassemble the entire unit and return the whole thing or go through Marcy site and get a replacement cable. Hoping replacing the cable it hassle free.

Limited (and clunky) Range of Motion

This machine is just okay. I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'2". This machine has very limited range of motion. The pulley system is cheap- too many plastic wheels. We hit the max of range of movement on the machine while half way through a rep. Tried to 'make due' for 2 weeks. It got boxed up and returned.
