Marcy Multi-Purpose Bench | SB-228

I absolutely love my foldable multi function utility bench!! I use it for sit ups, dumb bells, stretching, and kettle bells. It's a great price for what you get, awesome quality and it doesn't take up a lot of room.

I found this over the weekend and used it for the first time this morning. I love this bench! I am a 270 lbs 6 foot 1 inch man, and it is super sturdy and is an excellent addition to my home gym. I love the way it is so easy to adjust and the bars with foam pads seem to be positioned just right. I had an old bench that felt like my legs were breaking when I would use it. Assembly was super easy with the "in-order-by-step" blister pack.

Great for daily workout but not very heavy weights. Totally Value for money.

Really comfortable when doing exercises. Cost-effective and light to move. Excellent storage space. Certainly, surpassed all my expectations.

So, this past fall I was faced with a crazy life changing experience. I contracted a unknown virus from what they thing was a mosquito bite from a mosquito carried into my area here in North Carolina which ended up causing Viral Encephalitis. I for the first two weeks of October, the 6th being my 38th birthday, unconscious and on life support. Because it attacked my brain stem I have no memory at all of the end of September until the beginning of November. When I could start to remember and function a little bit I was moved from the hospital to a inpatient rehab center. When I got to the rehab center I could barely move let alone sit up, walk, talk, eat. I was a mess. I was assessed and then told at the end of the two weeks I would probably be walking 300 feet with a walker and that I would then be discharged. At that moment I decided that was what was not going to happen not only for me but for all the people who helped me I was going to fight and I also did not want my 4 year old son to see me like that. So at the end of only just a week and a half I was walking 5000 to 6000 feet with no walker no device for aid at all. I blew away everyone that worked at the rehab so much so that they put my story up on a plaque on the wall at the facility. So it has been a long journey and I am now doing alright I still have a lot of brain issues but I am a fighter and with that said I was looking for great weight lifting products to help me get back the muscle I had before all of this and I decided to purchase Marcy products. I was blown away by how well built their products are and how easy they were to put together. By far the best home gym equipment I have ever purchased. This was very easy to put together. I was able to do this on my own. Everything seems to work as it should.

Excellent bench,excellent value. 2 things I never thought I’d do is a) assemble anything and b) write a review. The instructions along with board posted and labeled parts were amazing . It functions exactly as it claims.
