Marcy Recumbent Exercise Bike | ME-709

This is my second Marcy 709 Exercise bike. I wore out the first one after 6 years!!! Easy enough to assemble. Had to hit Youtube a time or two for help, but, all in all I love this piece of exercise equipment. I'm 73 and ride it twice a day for an hr total. Every day!!!!

My fault, I should have gotten one with easier seat adjustment. Otherwise, works great, very quiet, easy to assemble. I'm preparing for knee replacement and my pre-hab PT looked it up and is impressed with this equipment, both for before surgery, and after.

This is my second Marcy recumbent bike. I moved across country and gave my original bike to a friend who had tried it and liked it. I bought a new one when I arrived at my new home. My friend loves hers. I love mine.
So I guess this is a double 5 star review,!

My wife who is in her 80s and has a hip replacement uses the bike for exercise especially when the weather is not to like. I was not expecting it to be so good. Given it's price is on the low end for recumbent exercise bikes, I was expecting there would be a lot to put up with. There isn't! Unlike some bikes, it's quiet. Don't spend more. This is a good bike that works well.

I just went thru a knee surgery and the bike is helping me out a lot in my process to rebuild strength in my knee

My Resistance Knob Doesn't Seem To Change The Pressure @ The Pedals. Not Sure How To Fix That.

I have a rare form of leukemia which led to neuropathy. I wasn't able to exercise like I wanted so my sister told me to get a Marcy recumbent bike like hers. I ordered it and received it on March 31, 2017. I committed myself to ride and diet. I went from 299 lbs to 235 and have been able to keep the weight off. I kept a journal of my diet and exercise. Yesterday I reached a milestone, I ride my $130 or so bike 24901 miles, the circumference of the Earth at the equator.I didn't need an expensive bike or a gym membership. This Marcy bike changed my life, thank you.

Received Marcy me 709 one day and it doesn't work the pedal slips and the monitor doesn't work I had to go through all kinds of filming and giving them the receipt in order to get another machine the people ran me off the phone the supervisor wouldn't answer the phone and now the monitor doesn't work along with the bike slipping when you try to Pedal it I thought the spike was a good buy turns out it didn't work at all actually it's 4 years old the manufacturing date is 10/10 of 2020

I bought my Marcy ME-709 in 2017, I am 80 yrs old and I still put more than 2000 miles on it this year. Great value, helped me lose 100 lbs and get completely off type 2 diabetic medication. If I ever wear it out I'll buy a new one the next day.

I love my bike; I am 78 and have had my bike since 12/2015. It was easy to assembly and a pleasure to ride. The cost was affordable. I ride 4-6 days a week.

This machine reminds me of an old truck I used to own:
looked terrible, but ran like a champ. The bike is approaching 9000 on the odometer and is showing its age, but has otherwise held up well. My pet conure made short work of the foam padding on the armrests, and I have had to improvise a cushion for the seat which a become permanently compressed and is leaving sores on my tailbone. I just replaced the pedals, as one developed a bad bearing, and the plastic has faded perceptibly. Still, it works well and does the job. Worth the price.

Very easy to put together from the instructions. Started back into my exercise routine. Recumbent much easier on my back; and I am a senior over 75-years of age. Right product right time.

I've had this bike for almost six years now in April. It's a very sturdy bike and I would recommend it, not a bad price for it and lasts a while, if you take care of it. I spend hours working out on it, and I get a good workout. Also, Erika from customer service. was Extremely professional, very patient with me and was persistent when it came to understanding my needs and questions, I had about replacing the parts for the bike. She did an outstanding job!

Works well, very solid...Extremely uncomfortable seat!!!!! I'll have to get a soft pad for it

Purchased this recumbent bike to help with my knees. Just assembled it and looks like it will be a good fit. Very quiet!

I have started to use the bike and it is so easy and comfortable. I am starting out slow and will build my workout to 30 minutes.

I just want to share that my husband was in a very serious cycling accident about a month ago. Arranging physical therapy has been a real trial. So when I saw this recumbent bike, I thought, that is perfect! And it is! Ordering and delivery were quite easy and rapid. I actually managed to assemble it without any help. The design has been perfect for my husband who currently cannot sit well on an upright bike. He has used this every day since it was assembled. Thank you Marcy.

Assembly was reasonably easy, except for linking the computer cable. The pictures of this process were a bit confusing. Fortunately, I found a YouTube demonstration that made the process clearer.

Great workout! Good cardio in 30 minutes. Very quiet and comfortable.

My daughter looked very carefully for just the right exercise bike. She wanted a recumbent bike that worked for her. After a long time searching she found this gem for her gym. It went together very easily and set up for her was so simple. She loves it.

Recently just purchased this bike and am very happy with it. I am a big guy (250lbs) and the bike handles me very well. Very very simple console (which is what I was looking for), easy to adjust sliding frame as well tension wheel. It is priced right so I am good to go.

I'm 309 lbs and I'm comfortable on it. It works great

I ordered this bike for my wife who has Parkinsons Disease. She used to go to our fitness center until Covid-19. She walks but found that she needed something more to keep her strength and balance. This bike was the perfect solution. We got it at a good price from Walmart. (Amazon had the same price.) My wife is only 5 5ft 1 or 5ft 2 and the close setting fits her. The longer one will be fine for me at 5ft 10. The quick release makes it easy to change. The range of settings (1-8) for resistance is also good. We keep AA batteries on hand, so that was not an issue. The machine is stable. It would be nice to select USA settings for distance, but we are used to KM as well. The display is large and clear. It turns off automatically after 8 minutes of non-use. It was easy to set up. One or two spots were a little tricky but manageable. I assembled it by myself, but it would have been easier at a couple of points to have an assistant to hold things in place.

I am extremely pleased with your product. It has a super design, well made and easy to put together. Great Bike for the price. Simple in design and simple to use. A fantastic basic exercise bike and a reasonable price. Thanks.

I ordered the bike from Amazon after using the same model at my Chiropractors office. It was delivered within 10 days and in good shape. The assembly was completed without complications. I am now using it for twenty minutes a day and I am very happy with it. It works well and no problems.

I have been happy with this exercise machine. My first one lasted at least 15 years before I just replaced it

Love this bike! It is comfortable to sit on and pedal. Easy to see time, distance, speed, and odometer readings.
