Marcy 150lb Stack Home Gym | MWM-990

Hey folks. Ok my wife and I are in love with the Marcy Stack machine, we are 59 and 65 years old and here are our thoughts. First it was not hard to put together , yes it took a few hours but hey we became familiar with our new machine. Second I myself years ago had been big into lifting and life got in the way or I did and stopped. This machine is more then capable of getting you were you want or need to be. Now I am not Dwayne Johnson so if you are then this is not for you . But if you are like 90% of us you will be just fine and do well. We have no complaints on construction or usability and it does more then exercises shown so dig in. The 150 pounds is not actually true as you can bench 200 if you look at sheet for upper lower and so on chart for bench or curls so I doubt most will ever get beyond this in routines . I say this only Because I think most are looking for affordable , convenient solid home gym to get in shape. It does not take up much room and goes between functions easily and quickly. I just can not say enough about this machine. We put a rubberized matt down to protect floor in home other then that good to go. Oh we did buy a pull down rope love it too btw. So yeah we / I dont usually do reviews but really felt we should on this one. We have had this for about 6 months and are on it 3-4 times a week. A little plaque says Marcy " for when you finally get serious " we are glad we did...

Received the machine quickly. Hired someone to carry it to my basement and assemble. It operates smoothly and is nearly heath club quality. Very happy and highly recommend!

If you're just starting out and not looking to spend a lot of money right off the bat, this is a good purchase. The gym isn't overly expensive, giving you multiple excercises and was pretty easy to assemble. The downside is that it's limited in excercises. There are 1 or 2 excercises for muscle group, unlike a more expensive and diverse machine. The weight stack is not expandable, so you may outgrow it quickly. The quality of the gym is good. Overall, a solid purchase and will hold up until you decide if you're wanting to take the next step in your fitness regimen.

Very easy to use and gives you a solid workout. Robust for a home gym and takes minimal space.

Good product. Shipped on time. Easy assembly. Assembly video is great. Short bar does not come with the unit though.

Great home gym. Took hours to assembly, follow the instructions. Dont open packages until the steps call for it. The gym is solid/sturdy. Had a few minor dents on delivery, but were hidden after it was put together. Overall 5 star purchase.

This home gym is exactly what I needed. This compact, all in one home allows me to target alot of muscle groups with ease of switching between exercises and desired weight.

Great system for the value

I recently received my MWM-990 home gym and assembled it in one afternoon. Wasnt difficult to do and the instructions were well illustrated. I have been able to use it several times already and it performs well. My only complaint is, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and the machine needs to be about 6 inches taller to accommodate taller individuals. I cannot get a full extension on some exercises, maxing out the length of the cables and having the weights hit the top of the machine. Add 6 more inches in height and it would be a 5 star machine.
