I love my MWM-990. It is an extremely versatile machine that is easy to use. Changing desired weight is also very simple as you would expect. It is very compact considering all of the exercises it offers, and it is a nice looking machine. My girlfriend thought it would be an eyesore and take up the whole room, but she was pleasantly surprised how small it was and how it looked after it was built. I assembled the machine alone which took some time, but I made sure all parts were in the packaging and it went very smoothly. I put the machine in an area where I tend to hang out so even on lazy days I make sure I get my exercises in. I recommend this machine to anyone looking for a full body workout.

I am joying it.

I got one and I like it. The only thing is mine did not come with the short bar to do arm curls. I'd like to get one for it. But other that'll that it's a great work out machine.

Bought for my son and it did not come with weights

Wonderful work out machine and easy to use

The weight machine is decent enough and will get the job done. As far as putting it together it’s hard to believe that a major company would not tag individual parts. They label them in the instructions but the part themselves you have to cross reference the pictures which is annoying. Not one single steel member, bracket or pad is labeled that along I would not recommend this product or manufacture

Purchased my MWM 990 in late 2019 before Covid really ramped up.
I started weight training in 1969 and have used just about every weight training device out there!
This MWM 990 is near the top of my list for best home gym addition! You can pretty much hit every body part in a effective manner.
Yes, it does have some room for improvement, but EVERY weight machine will be like that, no matter the type or how much you spend!
The unit is made solid and it's foot print isn't massive or clumsy.
I like this machine a lot, and I would buy it again.

This home gym is fantastic. It's the perfect addition to my gym. It is easy to use and doesn't take up much space. It does take a few hours to assemble but it was pretty easy. I would highly recommend!!

This is my 2nd Marcy Home Gym, since the first one lasted 32 years. Even thought at times we've had gym memberships, we've preferred weight training at home as far more convenient with no wait times for machines. We've had a 300 lb stack Marcy EMPro-1 since 1990. The only thing I repaired was recovering the bench and preacher pad, never even had to replace a cable. When a weld on our EMPro-1 fly bracket started to fail it was time to start looking for a replacement gym. Marcy/IMPEX makes a long lasting great product so I went for another instead of switching brands. Now at age 76 with 3 herniated lumber discs I am no longer into heavy duty body building, but more into lighter strength training maintenance. The MWM-990 fit the bill. It is not as robust as the former that was heavy gauge steel, iron weights and double the size, but I find is actually much easier to use with less setup for different exercises. I like the coated weights and don't miss the clang of the iron weights. I'm 6'1" and with an extra cushion I can adjust my seating up or down to accommodate press or leg extension functions to fit correctly. A rubber stop on top of the weight stack keeps it quiet since it does hit the top bracket once in a while at full extension because of my height. Assembly was 6 hrs for me with great instructions and well labeled hardware. Although I no longer have an overhead press like on the EMPro-1, I've always had a free weight bar and barbells so don't miss that function. This is a good machine for beginners and seniors as well as home supplement for serious gym rats. Customer service is excellent.

Great equipment! Easy to install. It does everything we were hoping for in a home gym.

Pretty straightforward instructions. Very well built.

Easy to install. Love the different workouts I can do with it. Not too bulky but it is sturdy. Good movement with the cables. Overall a good piece of equipment. I recommend

I really like this home gym! Easy setup and it is a very sturdy machine

We bought this during the height of Covid when stock was scarce and we waited over a month for delivery. But we've now had it for a couple of years and it is still used daily. Everything still works smoothly and we have not had any problems.

I must say I turned 79 today and I have ordered and assembled many items in my adult life and this has to be the best. The design, engineering, manufacturing, quality, ease of assembly, directions and everything was top notch. My congratulations to any and everyone connected to this project

Weight machine arrived within days of placing order. Machine is solid well built construction. Easily assembled by myself in one day. Watched a couple of useful YouTube videos done by others that made assembly simple, in addition to the enclosed instructions. Very happy with the machine and the results that I am already getting!

I love this addition to my home gym. I had one cable issue straight out of the box, and was very impressed with the responsiveness from customer service to resolve the issue timely. Highly recommend this company and their products.

Good product for home , does exactly what it is meant to do, I will recommend to anyone who doesn’t have time to go to a normal gym. Very happy with my home gym

The gym is very good except the bicep station does not work well

Hey folks. Ok my wife and I are in love with the Marcy Stack machine, we are 59 and 65 years old and here are our thoughts. First it was not hard to put together , yes it took a few hours but hey we became familiar with our new machine. Second I myself years ago had been big into lifting and life got in the way or I did and stopped. This machine is more then capable of getting you were you want or need to be. Now I am not Dwayne Johnson so if you are then this is not for you . But if you are like 90% of us you will be just fine and do well. We have no complaints on construction or usability and it does more then exercises shown so dig in. The 150 pounds is not actually true as you can bench 200 if you look at sheet for upper lower and so on chart for bench or curls so I doubt most will ever get beyond this in routines . I say this only Because I think most are looking for affordable , convenient solid home gym to get in shape. It does not take up much room and goes between functions easily and quickly. I just can not say enough about this machine. We put a rubberized matt down to protect floor in home other then that good to go. Oh we did buy a pull down rope love it too btw. So yeah we / I dont usually do reviews but really felt we should on this one. We have had this for about 6 months and are on it 3-4 times a week. A little plaque says Marcy " for when you finally get serious " we are glad we did...

Received the machine quickly. Hired someone to carry it to my basement and assemble. It operates smoothly and is nearly heath club quality. Very happy and highly recommend!

If you're just starting out and not looking to spend a lot of money right off the bat, this is a good purchase. The gym isn't overly expensive, giving you multiple excercises and was pretty easy to assemble. The downside is that it's limited in excercises. There are 1 or 2 excercises for muscle group, unlike a more expensive and diverse machine. The weight stack is not expandable, so you may outgrow it quickly. The quality of the gym is good. Overall, a solid purchase and will hold up until you decide if you're wanting to take the next step in your fitness regimen.

order this as a Christmas gift when unpacking found numerous parts damaged

Very easy to use and gives you a solid workout. Robust for a home gym and takes minimal space.

Good product. Shipped on time. Easy assembly. Assembly video is great. Short bar does not come with the unit though.

Great home gym. Took hours to assembly, follow the instructions. Dont open packages until the steps call for it. The gym is solid/sturdy. Had a few minor dents on delivery, but were hidden after it was put together. Overall 5 star purchase.

Very nice machine good work out
