The Marcy Smith Machine / Cage System - SM-4033 takes everything you use at a commercial gym and molds it into a single multi-gym unit for home use.
Interested in building a garage home gym? The SM-4033 is one (giant) piece of home gym equipment that includes almost everything you can think of for strength training.
The Smith Machine portion of the SM-4033 allows you to safely squat and bench press without the need for a spotter. The pulley system works with the arm presses, seated rowing cable, and cable crossovers to deliver an intense workout once thought to only be available at the gym.
To add body weight training, the SM-4033 Smith Machine includes many Power Tower features. Use the multi-grip pull-up bar for pull-ups, chin-ups, etc. Complete dips using the height adjustable dip handles.
The SM-4033 bench provides countless exercises. The weight bench back pad adjusts between -27 degrees and 76 degrees to pinpoint different muscles during your workouts. The bench seat pad is adjustable to ensure your comfort.
The SM-4033 includes an adjustable / detachable preacher curl pad to target your biceps. In addition, just below the preacher pad you’ll find a curl bar rest to easily rest in between sets. When not in use, easily move the bench using the attached transport wheels.
To add to the list of conveniences, the Marcy Smith Machine SM-4033 comes with several attachments / pieces of equipment – Short Bar, Triceps Rope, Cable Handle (2), and a LandMine attachment. When not in use, easily store your bar and weights using the included bar holder and weight posts.
The SM-4033 does not have a leg press or leg developer and one cannot be added to the unit. Calf raises and squats using the included smith bar would target the same muscles, however.

Marcy Smith Machine SM-4033
Great machine! The quality is excellent. It is very well build, I am very satisfied with everything. Installation is long, do not rush. Videos on YouTube are very helpful.

Impressed
The entire process has been positive. Ordered, communicated regarding delivery, well packaged. Although its a little intimidating with all the parts laying out, following the video to assemble was problem free. So far really like the set up. Bought a few accessories to make it work for us. No more need for gym membership. Great product.

Marcy SM-4033
I biggest complaint is the bench that came with the machine. Totally unusable, it sits 22 inches off the ground, I cant even rest my feet on the ground when using it. My son who is 6ft 2 can't put his feet flat on the ground when using it. The Decline bench you'll break your back trying to decline and use it. I had to keep my old bench in order to bench, incline. It's only 17 inches off the ground. Very Very Disappointed with the bench. The overall machine seems to be OK so far, the pulley system and smith machine are not the smoothest gliding but I had read that prior. It's not a pro gym and expected. I would love to hear from the company as to what can be done about the bench.

Great home gym
This rack is great! With one piece of equipment you can do so many things. The only concern is the height of the pull up bar is pretty high so if you have lower ceilings it may not fit.

The machine itself is %1000000 AWESOME !!! But the bench that comes with it is WAAAAY to high…. It should be at least 6 inches lower !!! If it wasn’t for the bench being to high, it would have received 5 stars …

A little over whelming to start, but following the youtube instructions putting the machine together by myself was actually very easy. It did take me about 10 hours, but absolutely worth it. The machine is extremely well built of quality parts. Using the machine is a pure pleasure. It has so many options that it is all around a fully body machine. I look forward to working out knowing I can do about any exercise for any muscle group. If you a looking for an at home gym, this is the one

SM-4033 Pulley System not great
pulley system doesn't pull equally on both sides. One side also makes noise and vibrates. Have to have 35+ lbs just to get the system to pull back the weight after you've pulled on it. Disappointed.

Horrible assembly process
This was the worse thing to assemble! The boxes are not packaged based on the steps, the YouTube video isn’t thorough enough, and the booklet is even worse. they need to offer an assembly option and let them deal with the help….

The Smith machine and every part about it has been great. Definitely improve my workouts allowed me way more options the only thing I can strongly recommend is you have one barbell sleeve for storage unit at the back of the unit you should have one on each side one for your curling bar and of course one for your main barbell

Missing parts
The parts look to be well made, but sadly I’m missing key parts to put this together. Unfortunately the parts are on back order for 3-4 Weeks I was told. Sadly they are selling more of these gyms but can’t get me my 2 pieces to assemble my gym.

Great product but terrible quality control!
I'll start off by saying my product was damaged in shipping and the customer service people were great with getting me replacement pieces. But, when those pieces showed up one of them in particular was in worse shape than the one damaged in shipping. Countless dings, dents, chipped paint and now that I have everything assembled I found out that 2 out of the 6 posts to store the weights on are to big and you can't slide the plates on so it's back to customer service I go.
