Great Piece of equipment

Solid, smooth, versatile & attractive
This kit is fantastic. Sturdy, smooth, and easy on the eyes. I had low hopes for a home smith machine, having only used heavy duty ones at the gym. This one exceeded my expectations. It operates very smoothly and is stable all around. Assembly took exactly how long I expected based on other reviews I wouldd read. I took my time over three nights and assembled this monster all by myself while hubby entertained our toddler girl. That is right, mommy put this together 98% alone. There were a couple of times I needed a second hand, but those were rare. Though the assembly instructions are generally pretty clear, there are a few places where a blown up depiction of the connections would have helped. I simply could not make out what I was being told to do given the tiny and cramped drawings. Thankfully assembly is largely intuitive with no surprises or weird steps one couldnt anticipate. All the holes line up perfectly and the bolts go in without putting up a fight. And I love the red accents. I imagine this cage wont cut it for the very serious advanced lifters. But for the vast majority of people looking to stay fit, and make gains in strength and size without busting through world records, this cage will more than suffice. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it over again.

Construction was simple and easy, with only a handful of steps where two or more people were needed. Only issue found was one of the main pieces was not threaded, but a replacement piece was mailed out. This caused about a 2 week delay in use, but it is what it is. The clean design and small footprint is what attracted me to this unit, as well as the superior quality. The cable pulls stick some with heavier weights but nothing WD-40 cannot fix.
