Dual Upper Pulley Cables and Lower Cable
The MD-9010G has a pulley system that works with a lower pulley and dual upper pulleys. Simply load weight plates (sold separately) on the pulley trolley to complete cable crossovers, kneeling lat pulldowns, and more.
Adjustable Bench Back and Seat Pad
The Marcy Smith Machine Home Gym MD-9010G has an adjustable back pad and seat pad for your comfort. The back pad adjustment angle ranges from -13 degrees to 81 Degrees.

Foot Plate

Use the MD-9010G as a Rack - Squats
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym can be used as a rack by placing the included bar catches and safety catches at the front of the unit and using an Olympic bar (sold separately.) Squats are great for targeting your quadriceps and glutes.
Preacher Curl Pad / Curl Handle and Leg Developer
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym includes a preacher curl pad and a curl handle. Add plates to the developer and use the curl pad and curl handle for preacher curls, which target your biceps. Load the leg developer with weight plates to perform leg curls and leg extensions. Leg extensions target your leg muscles, and mostly target your quadriceps.
Incline Bench Press with Smith Bar
The smith machine portion of the MD-9010G can be used for squats or can be used with the bench for presses. The smith bar allows you to safely lift without a spotter. Use the bench at an incline with the smith bar for incline bench presses

So needed this
Combination of Covid closing the fitness center at work and a broken foot, I was so happy when I finally was able to place my order for this machine. While it took time to assemble due to hopping around on one foot, it had well laid out diagrams. Only a couple places I got stuck on what part was being referenced. Im very happy with the workouts I now can do beyond the rubber bands I had to suffice with before. I only wish Marcy allowed swapping of this bench with the SM4033 cage.

Ordered in December 2020, received in mid January short parts. Called for replacements but they still haven’t arrived.

Best Thing Ever
This machine does it ALL. I waited what seemed forever for this machine to go back in stock but it was most definitely worth the wait! It is very well made and sturdy. I wouldnt have seen the benefit of buying anything more expensive than this elsewhere. You wont regret this purchase!

Unbeatable Price
I truly love this machine. I appreciate your honesty and your fairness. Its not the most perfect machine in the world, but I would say it does what it intends to do for an unbelievable price. Other companies are charging $4k to $6k for the same features and quality. The only negative thing I found is where you put the weights in the back of the machine. It should be rounded instead of square and it should be smoother. I lubricated the machine very well, but still its not going down on light weights like 5 lbs and 10 lbs. Im also afraid that over time, the plastics will rub against the bar and will be worn out. It should have a better engineering compared to the rest of the machine that is meticulously designed and built.

All in all the machine is excellent for the price. There are only three issues that I can highlight - the first is that the cables are a bit stiff and without enough weight on them they do not retract. Secondly the machine did not come with any pins or something to easily allow to clip the attachments onto the cables. Lastly the bar itself is a little loose so if you are spotting someone it needs to be perfectly horizontal to clip back onto the frame. Other than that this machine is quite impressive.

Great Machine
Upgraded a bowflex to this beast. The cost adds up some because you need to buy weights, but it is worth it. The only thing that is a little weird is decline press and shoulder press using the smith machine, but if you use the olympic bar works as expected.

Awesome equipment
This machine is awesome! Just like working out at the gym. For a long time I was just working out with a set of vinyl weights, but it was time to step it up. We have been looking for a while on this specific model and because of the pandemic situation it was out of order. We finally were able to find availability and we move quickly to buy it. It took me two halve days to assemble it, it is not hard, the instructions go step by step on everything that you need and you will need an additional set of hands to help out, not because of the weight but because of holding stuff while you are able to put everything together. This morning was my first use of it, and I am super happy with the equipment, it is just like training at the gym without waiting for the equipment or the weight plates. Really happy with the decision we made and the equipment!

Outstanding piece of equipment. No need to ever step foot in a gym again and that is from someone who has spent MANY years living in gyms. Great value. I did hire someone to assemble and would recommend that for those not inclined to spend a weekend doing so.
