Dual Upper Pulley Cables and Lower Cable
The MD-9010G has a pulley system that works with a lower pulley and dual upper pulleys. Simply load weight plates (sold separately) on the pulley trolley to complete cable crossovers, kneeling lat pulldowns, and more.
Adjustable Bench Back and Seat Pad
The Marcy Smith Machine Home Gym MD-9010G has an adjustable back pad and seat pad for your comfort. The back pad adjustment angle ranges from -13 degrees to 81 Degrees.

Foot Plate

Use the MD-9010G as a Rack - Squats
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym can be used as a rack by placing the included bar catches and safety catches at the front of the unit and using an Olympic bar (sold separately.) Squats are great for targeting your quadriceps and glutes.
Preacher Curl Pad / Curl Handle and Leg Developer
The MD-9010G Smith Machine Home Gym includes a preacher curl pad and a curl handle. Add plates to the developer and use the curl pad and curl handle for preacher curls, which target your biceps. Load the leg developer with weight plates to perform leg curls and leg extensions. Leg extensions target your leg muscles, and mostly target your quadriceps.
Incline Bench Press with Smith Bar
The smith machine portion of the MD-9010G can be used for squats or can be used with the bench for presses. The smith bar allows you to safely lift without a spotter. Use the bench at an incline with the smith bar for incline bench presses

Solid home gym
Shipping was much faster than I expected. Was delivered a little over a week after ordering it. Like many have said it comes on a pallet in 3 boxes. Delivery guy was able to place the pallet in my garage. It is not difficult to assemble at all, just a little time consuming if you do it by yourself like I did which took me a couple of days to do. Solid sturdy product. Just waiting on weights to come through and the home gym will be complete.

Great structure instructions are lacking a bit.
First off. If it wasnt for the instructions I would give this five stars. Some of the instructions are a bit unclear and leave you to guess or search of answers elsewhere. Not a total deal breaker but, I definitely expect complete instructions for such an in-depth build. Can totally be done with one person but, it definitely goes easier with two. Even if one of them is 8 months pregnant. Its still a fairly straight forward project. Im glad we went with this unit as opposed to the unit thats a bit cheaper. This one has solid construction. Leather trim looks shard. And once you get it built it works pretty smoothly aside from slight slacking of the pulley system. Hoping that works its self out. Otherwise, great equipment. Looks, functionality, and structure all are spot on. Great support from customer service as well.

Parts coming off
The plastic parts covering all the edges of the cage are coming off as well as the plastic parts at the end of the sponged rosters.

Marcy Smith Machine / Cage System | md-9010G
Great all around Smith Machine. You can do many different exercises and work most major muscle groups with this system. Nice array of bars come included. I found it mostly easy to put together once I had all of the parts unwrapped and laid out with the exception of the cables which were a bear to figure out. The packaging was good and there was no damage with the exception of one minor scrape. I would like it if the weight pegs were far enough apart to accommodate bumper plates. They arent. I would really, really like it if the bench had wheels so it could be rolled out to be able to get to the seated row foot plate and be able to do shoulder shrugs with the Olympic bar. The weight bench is not on wheels. Overall, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this product to a friend, however, Id warn them to order rubber coated cast iron plates or iron plates as the pegs dont accommodate bumper plates and let them know that the bench is a bear to move and should be on wheels. Lots and lots of parts. Took us three nights to Put it together. But its a great machine- sturdy, all the elements you could need for a good workout. Worth the wait to get it and highly recommend.

Great value for a good entry level Smith Machine. Instructions for assembly could be improved somewhat but overall not too bad. There is only one minor issue I have and the is the plastic leg caps on the bench keep coming off when moving around the bench, going to need to put some Gorilla Glue to keep them in place. And the spring clamps that come with it are small so I had to buy larger ones that are easier to put on and remove.

Assembly was very easy the pulleys should be bearing pulleys the plastic pulleys revolving on a shoulder bolt is a very poor design. The bench looks ok but is lacking several functionality a 45 lb plate gets jammed with the leg extension structure. The installed bar should have a locking feature on the upper structure to allow greater clearance. Please benchmark the bow flex and compare how proper pulleys should work
